A little clarity before you start.

Find answers about Choreo, NDDL team access, dance formation planning, and rehearsal.

Getting started

Accounts and team access.

Who can use Choreo right now?

Existing NDDL teams can sign in to Choreo with their team credentials. Dancers join through their team’s link or a personal email invitation and return with an email sign-in code. Not an NDDL team? Email directors@nddl.com to ask about bringing Choreo to your team.

How much does it cost?

Long-term pricing has not been announced. For pilot access and eligibility, contact the NDDL team. We do not list speculative prices or promise a permanent free plan.

Planning the performance

Your sets, stage and working tools.

How are productions and sets organized?

A production groups a performance or class. Each set contains its own cast, formations, stage settings and audio. Stage Studio can display the production’s sets together, while timing and formations remain specific to each set.

Can I add wings, backstage and props?

Yes. Configure stage dimensions, left and right wings, wing sections and backstage for a set. Performers and props can occupy those areas so entrances and exits have actual starting positions.

Are exports and staff invitations available?

Not yet. Formation exports, set backup import/download and additional choreographer access are marked Coming soon. Dancer invitations and the browser rehearsal view are available in the current app.

Your team and their view

Rosters, permissions and rehearsal.

Does syncing a roster change the NDDL portal?

No. Captains choose a competition roster and sync it into Choreo. The import goes one way. Choreo does not write dancer changes or formations back to the NDDL portal.

Can dancers edit our choreography?

Dancer access is for rehearsal. Dancers see sets they are assigned to, with their own position highlighted. The captain’s editing tools and team administration are not part of their workspace.

Does a QR code let anyone see our formations?

No. The QR opens the dancer workspace, but the dancer must sign in and have active team access. Captains grant access by email invitation and can revoke it from the roster.

What devices should we use?

Plan formations on a desktop or laptop. Dancers can open My Spot in a browser. Phone and tablet refinement is still in progress; test your team’s devices before relying on them for a rehearsal.

Choreo Vision

Experimental rehearsal review.

What does Choreo Vision do today?

Vision is an experimental video-tracking workflow. It detects people and lets captains associate observed tracks with roster members. Occlusion and crossings can interrupt identities. It is not a verified accuracy score, automatic choreography generator or finished production video service.
